Last night at the Seawork Awards, our very own Robin George, GMDSS Product Manager and maritime safety legend, was officially too good to ignore — and walked (well, cruised) away with the Lifetime Achievement Award! 🏆🌊

After a career spent making the high seas a safer place (and somehow managing to explain GMDSS without a single person falling asleep), Robin has finally hung up his lifejacket and sailed off into a well-deserved retirement.

From Morse code to modern-day distress systems, he’s seen it all — and probably debugged it all too. His dedication to maritime safety has saved lives, improved systems, and caused at least a few engineers to say, “What would Robin do?”
